Pair of English BoxLock Flintlock Blunderbuss Pistols with Folding Bayonets 8'' octagonal-to-round flared barrels. Engraved with London on one side and on the other is Laughen. Walnut grips. Steel folding bayonet with steel triggerguard. One of the pistols is missing the bayonet release button. Condition: All steel parts have a nice light brown patina. Brass with a nice untouched patina. Grips are excellent. Very nice pair.

A 19TH C. PLATEAU SINEW BACKED BOW WITH ARROWSThe good, pre-reservation utilitarian bow and arrow group with wood re-curve bow embellished in red pigment backed the entire length by wide strips of sinew and strung with what appears to be the original twisted sinew stringing secured by sinew wrap. Six wood shaft arrows with remnants of feather fletching and iron tips -all secured by sinew - are included.Bow measures 43.5 inches, arrows are 24 inches each.Good condition, noting the expected effects of age and use, particularly in regard to the original feather fletching remains which are very fragile at this point.
