Our consignor operated a Texas firearm store in 1986 and purchased several of Winchester sets for resale. Among those sets was #32, also the uniform number of Walt Garrison. A trade was made. Lot photos include one of Garrison and our consignor. Our consignor states that the firearms have never been fired and the levers have not been cycled or racked.*

From a Larchmont, NY estate. Dimensions: French briquet sword measures approx. 16" in length. Condition: Good, with light surface scratches and minor dings/dents. Items exhibit wear consistent with age. All items are preserved with what appears to be Cosmoline and or oil. The Spanish Mauser Model 1941 bolo bayonets blade has been over sharpened and its scabbard exhibits a missing finial. This lot is being sold as is.

MAURY ARTILLER...Civil War-era ambrotype, sixth plate, depicting a seated Confederate soldier in uniform, holding a revolver in one hand and a bowie knife in the other. The ambrotype descended a Maury County, TN family and the sitter is believed to be Watson Paine Cook/Cooke, (born 1841 in KY, living Maury Co., TN by 1860), mustered into Sparkman's Company, TN Light Artillery (Maury Artillery) as a private, mustered out as a sergeant. Housed in an embossed leather case. Case: 3 3/4" H x 3 1/4" W x 3/4" D.

Condition:
Ambrotype with discoloration spots, losses to black backing primarily to chest and left shoulder, but still visible. Case with general wear, lid is separated from case with old brown cloth repair to spine.
