BRITISH 1897 GEORGE V INFANTRY
BRITISH 1897 GEORGE V INFANTRY OFFICER`S SWORDBritish 1897 pattern George V Officer's sword having a three-quarter basket hilt, both sides of the blade heavily engraved with symbolism and devices of the British Empire to about two thirds of the blade length. One side of the blade marked S&J Kitchin Makers Sheffield and the other the six-pointed star with the word "Proved" etched on the blade. Sword together with leather scabbard measure approximately 40-1/4" in length the blade 32-1/2" in length. George V swords are currently used as ceremonial swords in the British military.

Cased cut steel buckles and buttons. The cut steel sword retailed by Davies & Sons, London, hollow ground triangular section blade etched with trophies and scrolling foliage, complete with scabbard, underbelt and carrying bag. FOUR BRITISH AND SPANISH SWORDS Four European swords comprising, a British pattern model 1846 with scabbard, having a well defined lion?s head with mane extending from the pommel down to the brass guard, shagreen grip, an anchor and crown guard, an etched blade having florals and an anchor topped crown, marked proved, scabbard is metal with a brass chape and mountings; a British Victorian period heavy calvary officer?s dress sword and scabbard, the sword having a steel pommel, shagreen grip period guard, and a chrome blade with double fullers, marked with a cartouche having a number 1 in the center and a crown above; a British 1796 pattern light calvary sabre, having a brass pommel and guard, leather wrapped wooden handle, and a curved steel blade, apparently unmarked; and a Spanish Faba De Toledo sword and part scabbard, the sword having a brass hilt embellished with a crown over a shield containing the letters GC on the grip with the number 785 stamped on the knuckle guard, blade stamped with Fa D Toledo (Spain) 1865. QEII JUBILEE DIAMOND & SILVER SWORDA beautiful, limited edition Wilkinson English sword to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II from 1952-77. Sword has elaborate sterling silver and enameled two-tone handle with 25 full-cut diamonds in the guard. Stainless steel blade with fancy etched designs as shown. It is hallmarked and numbered 76/100 with sterling silver plaque on interior of custom made walnut case. Size: 37 in long. Excellent condition, case has broken finial (included).
