MODERNIST FIGURAL BRONZE ANDIRONS DATED 1945The stylized bronze or brass African theme figures with original copper flash finish and brass rings are in the spirit of the Hollywood Regency movement that emerged in the U.S. during the 1930s and 1940s. Taking inspiration from motifs popular during Hollywood's golden age, the movement skewed to the glamorous, modern and exotic. Each of these is signed A GENUINE ROBINSON SCULPTURE with date of 1946 in the casting.Each measure 21.5 x 9 x 8 inches.Very good original condition throughout, no damage, repair or heavy wear.
