A hinged center ink pot is topped with a Prussian eagle finial, raised on classical dolphins above three trays trimmed with cherubim. The pot has its original glass liner. Marked with a blue scepter mark above "Selb" and stamped with the production number 128. German, circa 1950. Measures 7 1/4" x 9" x 9". Provenance: The collection of Shirley Bush Helzberg. Condition Very good condition. Wear to the gilt detail on the porcelain. The ink pot's glass liner has a couple of fleabites.
