BRONZE SCULPTURE TITLED PAS DE DEUX (THE DANCERS) BY HARRIET WHITNEY FRISHMUTH (NEW YORK 1880-1980). Signed on the base dated 1921 and including Gorham Foundry mark ''Gorham Co. Founders QBOS.'' Resting on a black marble base. 17 7/8''h. Patina partially cleaned in a few areas she has a stable crack at her armpit (may be a casting flaw). This work has been in the same family since the 1940s.
