JEAN PAUL GOURDON BROWN-GLAZED SANGLIER TERRINEJean Paul Gourdon (French b. 1956) Brown-glazed Sanglier Terrine , the tapered elliptical earthenware vessel hand-modelled with recumbent wild boar surrounded by fruiting oak; the handles formed as entwined oak branches laden with acorns and the sides modelled in low relief with hunting scenes; the underside signed and dated J.P. Gourdon 2004. The interior of the cover is applied with a further fruiting oak bough.
