The easels measure 88" x 24" x 28" and 84" x 24" x 24", and the stand measures 35" x 16" x 12". The stand is filled with brushes and tools as found. Wilbur Niewald, celebrated painter and beloved member of Kansas City arts community, passed away in 2022. As a painter, Niewald tirelessly created honest and engaging plein air landscapes, still life, and portraiture; he was the recipient of the Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship in 2006, and the Charlotte Street Fund Lifetime Achievement Award in 1999. As a professor and longtime chair of the Painting department at the Kansas City Art Institute, he helped guide generations of young artists. Condition The condition is as found, well used but solid.
