The mahogany-stained beech frame featuring a superstructure fitted with twin beveled glass cabinet doors with brass fillets, fronting a shelved interior, suspended above a mottled grey marble top, over a pair of bow-fronted cupboard doors fronting a shelved interior. Raised overall on a plinth base with a planished brass kickplate. Thonet Factory label affixed to interior of right hand cupboard door. Brno, circa 1914. Dimensions, 75" h x 40" w x 26.5" d. This and other like examples are not recorded in any of the company's production catalogues, however illustrations similar to this design by Thonet are found in the collections at the Trebic Museum in the Czech Republic.
