Images separated by differing geometric and foliate bands. Sawtooth border around perimeter. Reverse depicts eleven identical and evenly spaced row-houses with central chimneys. Busk lobed at one end and curved at other. Dimensions: Length 12.13".

DECORATED BUSK. Probably American dated 1845 maple. Elaborately chip-carved and filled with polychrome paints and crystalline resins. There are eleven triangle resin inlays missing on the left side and thirty-six on the right side. Missing resin inlays missing in the center diamond one in circle seven motiffs down two in the bottom diamond. Area of soil on the left side of the center diamond.
