Elaborate folk art model of a
Elaborate folk art model of a ship or yacht bridge. Constructed by the engineer of the cargo ship Berit. Made with parts from the ship including solid brass fittings pipes steel and other white metal bits and wood. Wood varnished and smoke stack and life preservers decorated with enamel. Smoke stack fitted as ashtray with white metal drawer for emptying. Lower area fitted for small lamp. Condition: Good. Some alligatoring some losses to enamel. Measures 16'' long by 11'' by 14'' tall. Weight 22.7 lbs.
