Pan depicted at rest, arching forward with shins parallel to the ground, supporting a nymph in the semi-supine position over the knees and calf, with arms respectively wrapped around with hands over nymph. Minor handling wear with losses in surface patina along outer protrusions, particularly Pan's hooves, left elbow, and back of head and nymph's feet, knee, and breast; minor pitting visible to interior of rear corner. Several panels with abrasions or wear along edges. Each of the panels somewhat cloudy, and each with some scratches, most of them faint, but a few a bit heavier. Each panel with abrasions along the lower edge where slotted into the base. The finish on the wooden bases sun-faded. No chips or cracks to the wood.
