Attractive Three-Piece Austro-Bohemian Porcelain Solitaire, fourth quarter 19th century, the richly gilt and polychromed solitaire of gloss ruby ground in the neoclassical style, comprised of a coffeepot with a figural reserve of Muses in the manner of Angelica Kauffmann (Swiss, 1741-1807), h. 7-1/4", a circular two-handled covered sugar basin with a reserve of an armed Eros astride a swan, h. 4-1/8", and a diminutive cream pitcher with a neoclassical figural reserve of a Sprite awaking a slumbering swain, also in the style of Angelica Kauffmann, h. 3-3/4", all with circular gold cancellation marks on the bases, the coffeepot with a "beehive" mark in underglaze blue, perhaps for the factory of Carl Knoll, Fischern.
