Highly decorative gold plated working miniature reproduction of a Gustav Dentzel style carousel with eight pairs of lead animals mirrors and lights raised on a wooden base. When activated the carousel revolves and plays fair ground music; Produced in 1983 edition 35/250 Condition: The carousel revolves lights up and four out of the eight sets of animals move up & down. A hiss is produced from the carousel's speakers but it currently does not play music

  AN OPERATING MODEL OF AN ENGLISH CAROUSELIan Walters Galloping Zodiac Horses operating model of an English carousel , thirty-six carved and painted wood horses (both single and double rider) circle the center column which is decorated with carved wood relief panels, illustrating the signs of the zodiac and also houses a carved wood band organ, with three human figures in attendance, two sets of colorfully painted sign boards circle the top, resting on a later stand. It is untested but has been re-wired for 220 volt. approximately 72" dia. Condition: Condition: not examined.
