A continuous circle at the dial's edge with all minute hash marks, four squares in a cross pattern at the chapters. Outside the circle, each five minute division of the hour is represented by arabic numerals in increments of five. Louis XV type minute/hour hands. Domed shape beveled edged crystal. 90 mm Japy type full plate movement, with rear count wheel circa 1870, half and hour strike. One piece unpatinated French bronze clock body casting, featuring scrolls and leaf pattern, a cartouche is below six(Rocaille style). Movement is housed in round cast frame, with it's hinged door, nests into the main casting. Latch closure inspection rear door. Comes with two keys for winding, and a small key for timing.
