US 1860 LIGHT CAVALRY SABER REPLICA
US 1860 LIGHT CAVALRY SABER REPLICA W/ SCABBARD A nicely made replica of the Model 1860 Light Cavalry Saber used by Union forces during the Civil War. The sword features a 36" curved blade mounted to a bronze wrap-around hand-guard hilt and wire-wrapped leather grip. The sword has only one marking of a Knight's Helmet on the right hand side just above the hilt. The scabbard appears as if it could be a genuine Civil-War era piece, however, as it has the distinctive solder line along the blade edge. The sword is in overall good condition with some minor damage to the leather grip and light rust spots near the base, the scabbard has surface rust throughout.
