Note: The Herbert family commissioned this porcelain tableware set to celebrate Great Britain's passing of the Slavery Act of 1833, utilizing their morally reputable motto as a critique of slavery. Mounted with scrolled bronze decoration to base, handles, pierced rim, and topped with an acanthus leaf bronze finial. Stamped with blue double "L" Sevres mark dated 1846, green Sevres Louis Phillipe mark, and red "Chateau Des Tuileries" mark to underside of lid. 11" H x 8 1/2" W x 6 3/4" D. French, Mid 19th century. 2nd item: Sevres style oval centerpiece bowl hand-painted scene of figures in a pastoral landscape with architecture, with a scalloped rim and base, foliate handles, and gilt accents throughout on a blue ground. Blue interlocking mark surrounding an "F" to underside. 7 1/4" H x 14 1/2" W x 8 3/4" D. French, mid-late 19th century. 3rd item: Small Chamberlain's Worcester urn form vase with hand-painted still life scene with fruit to front and gilt foliate decoration to base and rim on a blue and white ground, with swan form handles.
