Greenwich Hospital has severe foxing. Dublin from Phoenix Park has acid burn. UVA print overall very good condition with light grime and small lower left corner crease. Postcard album has wear to exterior, some card holder segments detached.

Robert Reed was born in Charlottesville, Virginia on July 9, 1938, the son of the late Robert J. and Elsie Armstead Reed Sr. He received a B.S. from Morgan State College in 1958, and a B.F.A. and M.F.A. from the Yale University School of Art in 1960 and 1962, respectively. In the summer of 1960, he attended the art division of the Yale Summer School of Music and Art, a program he later directed from 1970 to 1974. He was appointed to the faculty of Yale University School of Art in 1969. Reed's own art works-boldly articulated and richly hued geometric abstractions-were widely exhibited and collected. Among the places they appeared in group shows were the Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo, the Biennial of the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York, the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington D.C., the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, the Minneapolis Institute of Art, and the Yale University Art Gallery. Reed had solo shows at the Whitney Museum of American Art; the Bayly Museum in Charlottesville, Virginia; the Washburn Gallery in New York; and the McIntosh Gallery in Atlanta. His work is included in the permanent collections of the Hirshhorn Museum, the Walker Art Center, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Yale University Art Gallery, and the Bayly Museum. Reed died on December 26th, 2014 after a battle with cancer.

Ted Turner was a professor of art at the University of Virginia and at Dartmouth College. Turner's works have been exhibited at museums and galleries including The Huntington (WV) Museum, Charlottesville's McGuffey Art Center, Delaplane Center in Frederick, MD, Babcock Galleries in NYC, Montgomery (AL) Museum, and Norfolk's Chrysler Museum. A number of Turner's paintings have been featured in the Virginia Museum of Arts traveling exhibition "Virginia Vistas". Turner's prints have been shown by the American Federation of Arts and at the Brooklyn Museum.

He first found his love for art in charcoal sketching while in grade school and while attending Charlottesville High School was a featured artist in their annual art show in 2008. He became inspired after this to broaden his knowledge and became influenced by "heavy artists" who had such power and meaning to their paintings. Since then, he has specialized himself in modern oil paintings and tries to portray a deeper meaning to his artwork through his technique and choice of colors.

US SPRINGFIELD M 1899 KRAG-JORGENSEN CARBINEUS Springfield M 1899 Krag-Jorgensen Carbine, 30-40 Krag, 22" barrel length, SN 229141. The left side of the receiver is marked “U.S. Model 1899. Springfield Armory 229141”. The left side of the barrel band is marked “U” and the left side of the scaled pop-up rear sight base is marked “C”. There is a circled “P” proof mark on the stock behind the trigger guard and the left side of the stock is marked with a boxed having illegible markings above the trigger. Measures approximately 41-1/2" in total length. The Krag–Jørgensen is a repeating bolt action rifle designed by the Norwegians Ole Herman Johannes Krag and Erik Jørgensen in the late 19th century. It was adopted as a standard arm by Denmark, the United States of America and Norway. About 300 were delivered to Boer forces of the South African Republic. Famously served as the longarm during the Spanish–American War. NOTE: This item is subject to FFL rules, regulations, & procedures. Leonette Adler (American, ?- ) received her early art training at New York’s Art Students League and Parsons School of Design, and a B.A. from Hunter College in NYC. She has had solo shows in Charlottesville, Richmond, and Washington D.C. Her works have been exhibited in national shows at the Chrysler Museum, the Virginia Museum, Butler Institute of American Art, Gibbs Gallery of Charleston South Carolina, the Springfield Museum in Massachusetts, the Pennsylvania State College Gallery, and the Contemporary Art Center of Virginia. She lives and paints in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
