Ghanaian terracotta burial
Ghanaian terracotta burial reliquary head. Child's head with hole at base back of the head and pierced terracotta at the ears and nostrils. Unusual intentional protrusions on the scalp see images for details. White number and letter markings at base most likely from a museum catalog. Condition: signs of age though terracotta is fully intact see images. Measures 9.5'' tall x 5.5'' wide. Shipping weight 3 lbs.

TWO MILLINER'S HEADS. Probably
TWO MILLINER'S HEADS. Probably France 2nd half-19th century papier mache. Two heads with original gesso and paint. Blonde 15''h. and one with black hair 15''h. Imperfections. They both have some waterstains but I don't see any mold. The one with the black hair has an open split from the neck to the bottom. A small crack in her forehead. Both have wear/damage to the nose. The blonde one has a crack at the opening on the back.
