An Antique Tibetan Ritual "Phurbu-Cum-Chopper", ca. 19th Century or Earlier Bronze and iron with brown-verdigris patina. The lower part of the shaft consists of a curved blade that emerges from the mouth of a makara (mythical aquatic creature). The finial is of serpentine design with three wrathful heads of the phurbu deity, Hayagriva. Measures approx. 11-1/2"L.

Diameter: 18"
