GIORGIO DE CHIRICO (italian 1888-1978) three color lithographs from "dessins par giorgio de chirico" "MANICHINO" 15 7/16 x 11 3/8 in. (39.2 x 29cm) [Ciranna 129].; "CAVALLO IN LIBERTÃ" 11 3/16 x 16 1/2 in. (28.4 x 41.9cm) [Ciranna 130]. and; "NATURA MORTA" 11 3/8 x 15 7/8 in. (29 x 40.3cm) [Ciranna 131]. 1964, each pencil signed and numbered 50/120. Rotografia Romana, publisher; Bulla di Roma, printer. provenance: Private Collection, Virginia. ,000-5,000 Each is framed; the full sheets, not examined out of their frames. Each frame is backed tightly with a wood stretcher, and appears to have small nails in the sides, making the removal of the frames very difficult, without potential damage. Examining each print in it''s frame and under glass, we note that each appears to be in generally good condition, although it is not clear how each is backed (i.e. with tape mounts?) to gray backing paper, the colors of each print arguably appear to be somewhat faded or weak. Cavallo: we note some creasing to sheet, mostly just inside the outer right edge. Manchino: we note some creasing to sheet at parts of outer top right bottom left edges with a small surface split/fraying at outer lower left corner. Natura Morta: we note some creasing to sheet at parts of outer right and top edges.
