A Continental Brass Enameled Chocolate Pot, ca. 19th Century Of a bulbous form enameled inside and out, hand decorated with gilt foliate and scroll motif on cobalt blue, puce enamel interior, with two double raised bands of Greek key design, and gilt brass accents at the end of the handle and the spout that represent Foo dogs heads. Unsigned and unmarked. Measures approx. 6"H x 6-3/4"W. The piece was probably made as part of a cabaret set for two, and decorate in emulation of porcelains of the day.
