PRECISION BALANCE SCALE New York, mid-20th century, the wood and glass case with black glass platform; an interior plaque reads "Christian Becker Inc. / New York," a small metal plate with "No. S 8574G" affixed to exterior of base; the central glass panel supports a microscope fitted with a 10x lens by Spencer of Buffalo, NY; the scale with two pans suspended from graduated arms emanating from a brass column-form post. A drawer below the scale contains random paper filters, a few small weights, and parts.
