(4) MILITARY HATS, GERMAN BICORN, USN, NY STATE(lot of 4) Military headgear: (1) German officer bicorn hat, Imperial Navy, c. 1910 and WWI era, retaining the red, white and blue cockade with gold braid, overall in poor condition; (1) U.S. Navy hat by Bancroft Military Caps, bullion on visor indicates rank of captain or commander, USN cap device, in good condition with some soiling at top and back; (1) unknown military kepi similar to French Republican Guard headgear 1870s-1930s except in tan instead of blue, red V stripes at each side, chain chin strap, metal edge visor, a gold cockade with red at outer edge and red button at center, consignor acquired in Mexico; (1) New York garrison cap with a badge displaying the New York state seal, eagle over a shield with stars over stripes at right, sun, mountains and water at left, the shield over crossed anchors, similar depictions are found on NY regimental Civil War buttons, interior logo tag of Warnock & Co., 304 Fifth Ave., New York, overall in poor condition, likely era is 1880-1910 **Provenance: A prominent Dallas, Texas estate**
