Wood stirrup on right side void of stirrup on the left side. Condition: Fair. This saddle has potential for restoration. As is the condition of the saddle is dry and brittle and segments the saddle are dissipating. Leather skirts are in good condition.

A Civil War Style Sword and
A Civil War Style Sword and Scabbard The 42"L sword in a metal scabbard is in the form of a sword made for the Confederacy and retailed by Courtney & Tennant of Charleston SC. This sword is stamped on one side with "CSA" in a rectangle (Confederate States of America) and "Courtney & Tennant Charleston SC" within a rectangle on the opposite side of the blade. It is also stamped with "R" on the edge of the blade and on the end of the guard. The sword is slightly ill-fit in the scabbard and each portion of metal reacts to a magnate. No maker's marks were found.

The measurements of this saddle is 35" x 13" x 19". The seat size is 13 1/2".

US WWI M-1904 Saddle and Accessories This is an a original US McClellan saddle seat restored around 1980 to replicate the M-1904 pattern Cavalry saddle. The work was done by Hank Kluin of Burgess and Company Red Bank N.J. Hank passed away at an early age about two years ago; he was considered the premier Cavalry equipment historian and leather smith. His items are truly tomorrow's museum pieces today. He made all the accessories for this saddle. He made the 1904 saddle bags and stir-ups girth all straps and earlier officer's valise with brass eagles. Condition: Excellent.
