A Civil War Style Sword and
A Civil War Style Sword and Scabbard The 42"L sword in a metal scabbard is in the form of a sword made for the Confederacy and retailed by Courtney & Tennant of Charleston SC. This sword is stamped on one side with "CSA" in a rectangle (Confederate States of America) and "Courtney & Tennant Charleston SC" within a rectangle on the opposite side of the blade. It is also stamped with "R" on the edge of the blade and on the end of the guard. The sword is slightly ill-fit in the scabbard and each portion of metal reacts to a magnate. No maker's marks were found.
