19th century coaching scene painting, winter landscape with team of horses pulling coach by a thatched roof cottage, unsigned, oil on canvas, British School, 14-3/8 x 21-3/8 in.; modern gilt wood and composition frame. Original stretcher and tacking edge, restoration with three patches verso, crackle, cupping, cleavage, flaking, stretcher marks, retouch mostly in snow, sky and edges affecting 20 percent of surface; frame with repairs, corner separation.
