2 CHINESE MONOCHROME VASES RED & BLUE Two Chinese monochrome vases. The larger vase is cobalt blue and has handles at the neck and a flared mouth, with a deeply recessed base. The glaze pools evenly just above the unglazed foot. Other smaller vase is plum glazed and has stout foot and bulbous body which tapers to a long slender neck and flared mouth. Vase has deep recessed base with six black character.
Blue: H. 8 1/4" (20.1 cm), Plum: H. 5 1/4" (13.3 cm)
Condition: both in good condition overall for age and use.
