A TWELVE PIECE HEREND PARCEL GILT AND POLYCROME PAINTED...A TWELVE PIECE HEREND PARCEL GILT AND POLYCROME PAINTED "QUEEN VICTORIA" COFFEE SET, MARKED, 20TH CENTURY, a service for eight, each piece with gilt highlights and basket weave modeled banding, decorated with fluttering butterflies amidst blossoming leafy stems, verso centering overglaze blue arched "HEREND HUNGARY," above an armorial shield and crossed paint brushes over "HANDPAINTED," and various hand painted overglaze pattern/style numbers and letters, impressed "HEREND" with incised modelers and painters numbers/initials, comprising one coffee pot with domed lid centering a pink floral bloom finial; a sugar bowl with domed lid centering a purple tipped flower bud finial; a cream pitcher; eight waved rim trembleuse coffee cups with eight trembleuse pierced saucer stands; and a shaped oval tray with purple bow ribbon modeled and painted handles, length: 16".

GERMAN GOTHA THURINGIA PORCELAIN TEA SERVICE, 25 PCS.German porcelain tea service with Indian purple decoration, 25 total pieces, Gotha Porcelain Factory, Thuringia. All with reeded bodies, monochrome Indian purple hand-painted decoration depicting Italianate ruins, most pieces marked with hand-painted "R" in purple on base, several pieces with purple crossed-sticks mark. Set consists of a teapot, coffee pot, creamer, covered sugar bowl, 11 saucers, 4 coffee cups and 6 tea cups. Ranging in size from 1 3/4" H to 11" H. 18th century.
Condition:
Coffee pot with chip to base. Tea pot lid shows evidence of restoration.
