COLOMBO SRI LANKA ENGRAVING ON PAPER, 18TH CENTURY "The Seige of Colombo under the Command of General Gerard Hulst" published in John Churchill's "A Collection of Voyages and Travels" depicting Colombo, Sri Lanka, circa eighteenth century, housed in a wood frame. Image: 11.5" H x 14" W; frame: 19" H x 21" W. Provenance: Property from the Manhattan estate of Indrani Yogasundram who lived in many different countries with her husband, Yogaraj, during his decades-long career as a Sri Lankan diplomat. In addition to the heirloom jewelry she possessed, Indrani acquired jewelry, art, and ornaments while stationed in China (1960-63), Sri Lanka (1963-65), and Iraq (1965-1967).
