MAHOGANY GRANDFATHER CLOCK Colonial Manufacturing Company (American 1899-1985), tall case or grandfather clock, circa 1980, having a mahogany, parcel gilt, and ebonized case, scrolled broken pediment centering on an urn finial, glass door and sides, half round pilasters, moon phase above a dial with Arabic numbers, with five brass tubes and pendulum, and rising on plinth base with low block feet, serial number 8011855 engraved on a brass plaque to the door, marked to dial and brass plaque. VINTAGE INDUSTRIAL HOLOPHANE SHADESailor Hat style. These lights were designed to disperse light in a factory setting so they were easy on the eyes of the workers. These particular lights came from an early 20th century factory in Massachusetts. Wear, small marks, and dirt throughout all pieces, with rusting to metal clips and insert. Rust staining to base of shade.
