Stamped on right side, just above trigger guard "XIT 12," presumed to indicate that the gun belonged to the XIT, a cattle ranch in the Texas Panhandle that operated from 1885-1912.Grips worn. Trace of nickel finish. Action tight. This item can be shipped in-house. C&R or FFL.

*Colt Bisley Single Action Revolver .38 WCF cal. 5.5'' barrel S/N 279974. Hard rubber grips numbered to the gun 1906 date of mfg. Condition: Very good condition with a very good bore. The finish is a mix of original blue and brown patina and the metal surfaces are smooth with sharp lettering and markings. The revolver has mechanical problems and the cylinder does not lock in place while the trigger does not return as it should. This should be an easy fix for a competent gunsmith.

Retains 80% bluing on cylinder barrel and trigger guard (most loss is on the ejector housing and trigger guard) a few minor scratches on the barrel bore condition good action good marks are crisp. Manufactured 1902 and thus requires FFL form 4473.

*COLT BISLEY MODEL SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER. .38 WCF six-shot cylinder 4 3/4'' round barrel hard rubber grips. S/n 223927. This Colt is accompanied by a factory letter dated 1991. This gun was part of a shipment to Witte Hardware Company in St. Louis Missouri in late March of 1902. Mottled gray-brown patina action smooth marks clear bore with light pitting. Manufactured 1902 and requires FFL Form 4473.
