  COLT MODEL 1911 .45 NATIONAL MATCH US ARMY PISTOLFeatured in this lot we have a Colt Model 1911 National Match U.S. Army semi automatic pistol chambered in .45 Auto. This pistol was manufactured in 1918 by Colt for the first World War. The pistol features wonderful hand stippled trench art across the front of the grip with a Fancy T at the center. The Model 1911 is one of the most recognizable and well known American pistols and is still in production today. This early 1911 features a 5" long round barrel, checkered wooden grips, steel frame, and adjustable rear sight. The top of the barrel is marked ".45 Auto N M 7791414". The side of the slide is marked "Model of 1911. U.S. Army" on the right and PATENTED APR. 20. 1897. SEPT. 9. 1902 DEC. 19. 1905. FEB. 14. 1911. AUG. 19. 1913 COLT'S PT. F. A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A." on the left. The back of the slide is stamped with the rearing Colt horse on the left with a "GSH" stamped on the frame on the left with the serial number on the right. The pistol shows wonderful working condition with a smooth action, crisp trigger, and grip safety. The pistol shows good condition overall with some light wear and loss of the finish on the back of the slide. The pistol weights 2lbs 6oz. Serial Number: 219517.   COLT WOODSMAN MATCH TARGET PISTOL, .22 LR A Match Target variant of the classic Colt Woodsman semi-automatic .22 rimfire pistol. The pistol features a heavy barrel, wider grip panels with thumb support on the left hand side, and fully adjustable rear target sights. This particular pistol has seen its fair share of use showing finish wear throughout with about 70-80% bluing remaining. There are some dings to the metal near the muzzle and front blade sight. The pistol has also had the initials "R.J.G." electropencilled onto the gun above the serial number. Mechanically the gun is sound and the rifling still in very good condition.   Colt Model 1860 Fluted Cylinder Percussion Revolver .44 cal. 7.5'' round barrel S/N 1454. Single-line Hartford address. Four-screw frame. Blued finish with silver-plated backstrap and triggerguard. Walnut grips. Condition: All metal is very sharp and crisp retaining traces of high blue finish mixing with nice brown patina. Backstrap and triggerguard retain all of the silver-plated finish with some of it bumbling up on the backstrap and thinning. Grips retain most of the original varnish with some gone on the high lines. A very nice untouched Colt revolver.

Condition: Barrel retains 50% of the bright original blue finish just thinning and off of the high edges. Loading lever retains 40% of the original case colors turning to a dark brown. Frame retains traces of case colors turning brown. Cylinder scene is sharp and crisp with light patina brown appearance. Grips retain most of the original varnish with some wear on the sharp edges and some nicks and dings.

All numbers match except the wedge which is unnumbered. One-piece walnut grips. Condition: All markings are sharp and crisp. Revolver appears to be an old arsenal refinish with a blued frame. Cylinder frame backstrap and barrel show some iridescence of blue bleeding through the brown patina. Nice untouched patina on the triggerguard. Grips are nice and untouched with some nicks and dings.

Grips are old and yellow with age cracks.
