One small spot on the cylinder. Grips have some nicks and dings.? In a non-factory casing with an original mold that is in fair condition.

Retains less than 20% of original blue marks crisp cylinder scene somewhat worn but still fairly visible original finish on grips numerous dings and scratches at the top of the backstrap action smooth.

Mahogany case includes flask mold and other accoutrements. Traces of blueing remains case lid has slight warp. Our consignor (the Hallock family) indicates that all of their guns are in working order but we cannot guarantee their functionality.

In a rosewood case with accoutrements. Retains 80-90% of plating engraving sharp marks a bit worn but still readable walnut grips with a few dings but appear to have their original finish action smooth bore clean with only minor pitting; case with some varnish wear and crazing. Manufactured 1856.

  Colt Model 1849 Pocket Model .31 cal. 4'' octagonal barrel S/N 186686. All matching numbers two-line Hartford address walnut grips. Condition: Barrel retains 50% of the bright original blue finish just thinning and off of the high edges. Loading lever retains 40% of the original case colors turning to a dark brown. Frame retains traces of case colors turning brown. Cylinder scene is sharp and crisp with light patina brown appearance. Grips retain most of the original varnish with some wear on the sharp edges and some nicks and dings.
