Occasional minor dampstaining, but internally generally clean & bright. Early owners' ink signatures on title page, minor staining & smudging to title. This French translation was made by The Duc de la Rochefoucault, at Benjamin Franklin's suggestion. It includes over fifty footnotes by Franklin.
