  CALDWELL STYLE SILVERPLATE BRONZE AND COPPER CLOCK Renaissance Revival silvered bronze and copper clock in the manner of E.F. Caldwell with an astrological motif. Each Roman numeral is accompanied by an astrological sign, and the center copper dial displays various mythological beasts and figures. Clock sits atop a silver bronze foliate covered base and is suspended by a pair of merfolk and foliate swags. Circa the 1920's. Original movement replaced. Retailed by Massimo Lattuga, Milano, Via V. Monti 55. By consignor provenance this was purchased at a NYC antique show from Dallas W. Boesendahl, NYC, March 24th, 2001. Thought to have originally been on display at the Roxy Movie Palace. Dimensions: 13.25" w x 5.25" d x 18.5" h. Condition: Good, with light surface scratches and minor dings/dents. Original movement is replaced.
