A. Corti (Italian 19th Century) A sensuously carved alabaster figure of a woman coquettishly looking at her refelection in a pool apprx. 17-1/2"W x 7"D x 13"H. She reclines on an architectural base incised on the back with "Made in Italy...A. Corti...Florence". The pool into which she gazes is lit with an electric fixture concealed underneath a cerulean blue plate of glass.
