Signature of Governor John Sevier, who was a Revolutionary War soldier as well as the Governor of the unrecognized state of Franklin. Sevier was k nown for developing wagon roads and encouraging education. Early United States of America autograph, state seal. Approx. 9-5/8" L x 17" H.
