CRUET SET, COFFEE POT AND SALT
CRUET SET, COFFEE POT AND SALT SHAKERS, 4 ITEMS1st item: Cruet set with stand having central handle with scroll accents, fitted rings to hold bottles and stoppers, and chased foot upon a scalloped rectangular base having four foliate feet and Dutch inscription commemorating the "silver" or 50th anniversary of a May 24, 1852 wedding. No maker's or quality marks. Includes two cut glass cruet bottles with faceted body, lobed neck, and pinched spout with two fitted, lobed stoppers. 13 5/8" H x 9 3/4" W x 6" D. 2nd item: Footed coffeepot with hinged lid having wooden finial, wooden handle, gooseneck spout, and foliate cartouches to each side of body. Inscribed "Gorham" to one side and "Virtute et Fortuna" ("Virtue and Fortune") to the other. Unmarked. 11 3/8" H x 7 3/4" W x approx. 4 5/8" D. 3rd-4th items: Pair (2) salt and pepper shakers with acorn finial, diapered top, central cartouche to body having vignette depicting a mythological scene of putto and cherub, foliate accents, and three feet with rose knees. Inscribed "Gorham". Stamped with maker's mark "WSH" and illegible hallmarks to side of one foot; tests sterling. Both 6 1/4" H x approx. 2 3/8" dia. Late 19th/early 20th century.

Condition:
All items in overall good condition; all pieces monogrammed or inscribed. 1st item: Minor surface scratches and denting, previous repair to one foot on base. Glass bottles with minor scattered wear including fleabites to stoppers; both with hairlines to base of handles, largest measuring 5/8" L. 2nd item: Scattered minor surface denting and wear to paint on wooden pieces. 3rd-4th items: Minute scattered surface scratches.

A French Faience Cruet Set and Stand Consisting of two flasks and two stoppers with a stand, beautifully hand decorated with figural country scenes and flowers with rose color striping on the edges, marked on the underside with "VP" for Veuve Perrin. Each cruet measures approx. 6-1/2"H and sits inside a pierced gallery; part of the oblong tray, approx. 9-1/2"W x 5"D. The stoppers also have circular holders between the cruets.

A Rebecca Emmes & Edward Barnard I, Sterling Silver and Crystal Cruet Set, London ca. 1808 The boat shape sterling silver tray sits on four legs with ball feet, with a dentil pattern along the edges and a scrolled acanthus leaf at either end, the holders of the four cruets supported by flattened columns. With four unmarked cut crystal cruets with cut crystal stoppers and silver collars (unmarked). Each cruet measures approx. 6"H. The tray measures approx. 3-1/2" x 8-1/4", and weighs approx. 9.04 toz. Marks on the underside of the tray for Rebecca Emmes & Edward Barnard I, London, ca. 1808.
