The tea box is a cube form in mahogany veneers 6"H x 5-1/2"D x 5"W hinged lid key escutcheon interior lid with turned metal knop wool textile on the underside.

A Chinese Blue & White Porcelain Teapot with Lid Squared form sits on four bracket feet, has a squared handle and spout, circular inset lid with peach and leaf knop. Decorated overall with landscapes and foliage in cobalt blue, no marks found. Measures approx. 4"H x 3-3/4"W x 3-3/4"D. There is a portion of an inventory card from Marguerite Riordan, Stonington, CT folded inside the teapot assigning an 18th century date to the piece.
