VICTOR VASARELY ARTIST PROOF SCREENPRINT, COSCA II 'VP ...Victor Vasarely (Hungarian/French, 1908-1997) Modern Op art color artist's proof screenprint on wove paper titled "Cosca II 'VP 100,'" depicting a seemingly three-dimensional circular shape situated in the center of a grid pattern, rendered in shades of blue, green, red, pink, and black. Numbered "EA 2/20" in pencil, lower left below image, signed "Vasarely-" in pencil, lower right below image. Martin Lawrence Limited Editions, Inc., Van Nuys, CA label with artist and title information, en verso. Housed under glass in a metallic silver and giltwood frame with an off white linen liner and giltwood fillet. Image: 18 1/2" square. Sight: 21 1/4" square. Framed: 32" square. 1982.
