Blued and case colored finish with hard rubber grips. Condition: Barrel retains 90% of the origjnal blue finish thinning a little. Frame showing most of the original case colors with some light brown staining. Grips are excellent.

CONNECTICUT ARMS CO. POCKET REVOLVER. Front loading pocket revolver .28 caliber 3'' ribbed octagonal barrel silver plated brass frame and walnut grips. Sn. 4061. Very scarce late variant with large knob tip on ejecter and two line patent date 1864 1866 on cylinder. Strong action clean bore good rifling. 90% blue on barrel 20% on cylinder 15% plating left on frame. Name on barrel quite clear patent dates on cylinder are clear though harder to read because of mottled finish. Very nice gun.
