LARGE MALLARD DECOYA large female
LARGE MALLARD DECOYA large female mallard decoy, with weight, the body made of a composite material covered with painted canvas, or fiberglass. Carved wooden head. The larger size of the bird would have made it more visible in the water. Note damage, hardened bubbling of glue or varnish along a portion of the bottom edge of the decoy. Circa 1950. Measuring, 12.5" high x 28.25" long x 12" wide.
