  CHINESE B & W HIGH FOOTED PLATE W/ CRANE, 19TH C. this plate is glazed in the classic blue and white style. It has a proportionately tall foot which is hallow and decorated with a leaf motif on its bottom and a wave motif near its center. It¡¯s plate has a bird symbol which is repeated three times and depicted on the interior well and lip. It¡¯s exterior walls have a butterfly pattern which is repeated three times on either side of the piece. Both the interior and exterior rim are identified with blue under-glazed lines. D: 4.1 by 2.6 in (10.36 by 65.2 cm) Condition: A 1 mm of damage to the glaze of the plate, located on the well.
