No magnets or wires. Hand can be picked up and shown to astounded audience members. Circa 1930s. Board measures 18" x 11-1/4". Hand measures 9" long. Original velvet around wrist, with lace cuff. Some minor paint loss, not repainted or restored in any way. Very fine condition. Mechanism works well and smoothly. From the estate of a 90-year-old retired professional stage magician.
