Kentucky Folk Art Drawing of Pigs Cynthiana Kentucky 1885 a pencil and mixed media drawing of a boar sow and piglet titled Berkshire Pigs signed C.T. Delling and dated 1885 framed under glass; 13.5 x 14 in. A History of Bourbon Scott and Nicholas Counties lists Christian T. Delling as owner of a clothing/furnishings business in Cynthiana KY. Born in Saxony 1824 Delling learned the trade of wool and silk weaver. He came to the United States in 1848 first to Pennsylvania then to Ohio and on to Kentucky settling in Cynthiana in 1852. In 1861 he married Louisa (Taber) Ormsby principal of the first female school in Cynthiana. Property of Caswell and Sara Lane
