SIGNED EUROPEAN SCHOOL PAINTING, DON QUIXOTE & SANCHO P...European School mixed media on paper painting depicting two men riding stuffed horses in a mountainous landscape setting, most likely Don Quixote and Sancho Panza from The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha by Miguel de Cervantes, originally published in in 1605 and 1615. Dated and signed "19 JAROSY 35," possibly Anton Jarosy (Jewish-Yugoslavian, 1887-1951). Housed and matted under glass in a wooden frame with black trim. Sight: 14 1/8" H x 19" W. Framed: 24 1/4" H x 28 1/2" W.

Condition:
Overall good condition with scattered water stains, minute areas of paint flakes, to surface of sheet. Not examined outside of frame.
