This silkscreen exemplifies Sultan's modern take on the still life tradition. Cascading white flowers are flattened against the white background, creating a semi-abstract motif that obscures the relationship between figure and ground.

This particular work is unusual for Saff in the processes used, including multi-color lithography, die-cutting and it's custom constructed lucite case.
Donald Saff is a master printmaker, who has worked in collaboration with Robert Rauschenberg, Jim Dine, Roy Lichtenstein, James Rosenquist and many others. Saff is also the founder of Graphicstudio, an experimental printshop, at the University of South Florida.
Measures 29" x 27". Excellent condition with no chips or visible cracks and only minimal wear to case.
