He is depicted seated at his breakfast table, his chin on his chest and his newspaper fallen to the floor, as chickens come in from the yard and have at his food. In gold molded frame with black panel having painted gold vines. OS: 24 1/2" x 36 1/2". SS: 17 3/4" x 29 3/4". Light craquelure, re-varnished.
