Detachable arms are also decorated with floral garlands and gilt trim. Both with impressed marks 500 9 and painted 24 on undersides; male figure is also marked with faux Meissen style crossed swords mark. 21"h. German, late 19th to early 20th century. Condition: Woman has 1/8" flake to front of base, man has a few scattered small losses to rear of tree. Male figure has some pink candle wax residue to foot and base. Blacklight reveals professional restoration to multiple small chips and losses on both figures and possibly to male figure's hand.
